Whitewater Rafting – 3-Rapid Adventure with Wilderness Adventure in Vindeln

We meet at our riverside camp at Västomån, just downstream from the wild and beautiful Renforsen.

Here, we gear up with wetsuits and all necessary equipment before stepping into our inflatable rafts and heading out into the river.

The adventure begins gently with paddling through Hemselet – a calm stretch where you can get comfortable with the paddling technique and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Then the action starts: we reach the first rapid, Hemseleforsen, which runs for over a kilometre with an 8.5-meter drop. Prepare for rushing waves, swirling water – and joyful screams! Expect a splash or two!

After the excitement of Hemseleforsen, we continue on a calmer stretch until we reach the final two rapids: Upper and Lower Kvarnforsen. Together, they span 2.3 kilometres and drop 14.5 meters – so yes, there’s a high chance you’ll get wet.

The tour finishes with a relaxing paddle across Kråkselet before we go ashore.
All in all, we’ve rafted about 8 kilometres through one of Sweden’s most scenic rivers – a perfect blend of nature and adventure.
