Art in the mill

A wonderful meeting place for art lovers and a popular destination for the whole family. Open during the summer season. Every year, different artists exhibit their work in Vindeln’s old mill. Konst i Kvarn attracts around 13,000 visitors each summer. Alongside the art, visitors can explore a well-preserved cultural heritage building, with informative displays showing how grain was turned into flour in the early 20th century.

Located beside the Renforsen Rapids, the area also offers beautiful natural surroundings, walking trails and barbecue areas. Café Mjölnaren and Vindelforsarna Camping are located nearby.

A ramp provides access to the mill’s entrance level. Art displayed on floors that are not accessible by wheelchair can be viewed through an interactive presentation.
