The Isälvsleden trail turns 30 in 2026! To celebrate, we’re retracing the inaugural hike around Långtjärn, beside the impressive glacial ridge known as Kammen.

Description
Join a guided hike along part of the Isälvsleden trail and discover how the last Ice Age shaped the landscape. The circular route around Långtjärn is approximately 3 kilometres long and is an easy walk.
Friluftsfrämjandet in Vindeln will treat participants to grilled sausages and traditional boiled coffee or a cold drink.
Getting here: The route is signposted from the turn-off towards the Valfrid Paulsson nature reserve on road 363.
Registration: Please register by 6 pm on 2 October.
