Local Heritage Museum

The local heritage museum at Brånet in Vindeln is located where the old Degerfors village once was. The area has over 15 buildings that have been moved here from other places in the parish.

Most of the buildings are from the early 19th century. Visitors can hire a baker's cabin for accommodation. Snacks can be ordered. .

With car from Umeå center: Follow road 363 heading to Vindeln for approximately 54 km. Turn right at the sign heading to "Hembygdsgård". Follow the signs heading to "Hembygdsgård".
