Timber Rafting

Build your own raft out of logs and rope and let it float you down the Umeälv river. Get really close to nature and enjoy the tranquillity of Europe’s last wilderness. The long, light summer nights of the north will make a life-long impression on you. This is an adventure you will never forget!

The guide at Granö Beckasin will help you to build your raft with three layers of 3-metre long logs are woven together with rope. The completed raft is very steady and can easily carry six adults. The raft floats along at its own pace. You can steer it using paddles and poles. Go ashore wherever you wish, roam the forests, swim, fish and rest in beautiful clearings.

You choose whether you want a 1, 2 or 7-day raft ride. Sleep either on the raft or in a tent.
