Vindeln Pump Track

Located next to Renforsskolan in central Vindeln, the pump track is a place to get moving, practise your balance and give something new a go. Families can enjoy some active time together, friends can challenge each other, and experienced cyclists can fine-tune their skills.

On a pump track, you build speed by “pumping” your body over the rollers and through the turns, rather than pedalling continuously. It is all about finding your rhythm and using your movements to carry you forward.

The track is 225 metres long with ten turns, divided into a larger main loop and a smaller kids’ loop. The kids’ loop is also adapted for wheelchair use. At the centre of the facility, you will find a concrete bowl for skateboarding.

Want to track your progress? The track’s timing system and accompanying app let you record your lap times, compare results and try to beat your personal best.

The facility was developed by the local association SIV – Spontanidrott i Vindeln, with strong support from the community. It brings children, teenagers and adults together to try something new, build their skills and have fun.
